Indications
It is indicated for exclusive use in horses, in the supporting treatment of several pathological conditions, such as:
Muscular dystrophy, osteoporosis, plastic anemia, anorexia. Favors the retention of calcium and phosphorus, contributing to greater bone development. Its use is also indicated in states of weakness after illness, surgery, orthopedic injuries (including Laminitis) In the improvement of general physical conditions and after overwork or training

How to use

It is a ready-to-use solution and must be administered via
deep intramuscular.EXBOLD

Dosage

The recommended dose ranges from 0.25 to 1.1mg per kg of body weight,
equivalent to administering 0.25 to 1.1 ml for each 50 kg of weight,
regardless of the age or sex of the animal , as shown in the table below :EXBOLD

The interval between each application should be 2 or 3 weeks.
The determination of dose and duration of treatment must be evaluated by the veterinarian, although in most cases, the expected response is obtained with one or two applications of the product.

Side effects

It is well tolerated by horses and generally has no side effects.

In excessive and constant doses, androgenic or masculinizing effects can be observed (Very evident in females).
Retention of sodium and water (which can lead to the appearance of edema) and increased aggressiveness (making the handling of animals more difficult). LIMITATIONS OF USE

For equine use only. Do not use in pregnant mares. Do not use on animals intended for human consumption.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

The use of EXBOLD is considered “dopping” and therefore prohibited in sports.
Residues of boldenone undecylenate can be detected up to 40 days after the last application.

GENERAL PRECAUTIONS

Respect the asepsis rules during the handling and application of the product. Do not use or store near drinks, food, medicines, household care products and fire. Do not reuse empty packaging. If the product comes into contact with ammonia-based detergents, such as soaps and nitrates, it may precipitate.
