As an aid in the prevention and treatment of anemia by increasing red blood cells and hemoglobin in racehorses, dogs and camels.

COMPOSITION (Each ml contains):  Iron Sucrose 20mg, Cyancobalamin (Vitamin B12) 5000mcg, Copper gluconate 200mcg, Sodium Cacodylate 6.4mg, Thiamine HCl 10 mg, Riboflavin (as 5-sodium phosphate) 2 mg, Pyridoxine HCl 10 mg, Niacinamide 10 mg, Dexpanthenol 10 mg, Ascorbic Acid 10mg, Folic Acid 5mg, Benzyl alcohol 2% w/v.

Actions: Redcell PLUS  INJECTION 100ml  is a premium, fast acting, oral supplement to increase red blood cell counts in race horses and dogs. Redcell PLUS  INJECTION 100ml provides a highly bioavailable source of iron. Iron is essential to many body processes, particularly cell respiration and also oxygen transport in hemaglobin.  Increased demand for iron occurs in many situations, from pregnancy and lactation, haemhorrage, parasitism, and also increased red blood cell turnover demanded by hard training and racing or performance.  Demand for adequate iron may not be met by the normal dietary sources.  This can lead to iron deficiency causing fatigue, poor endurance and exercise tolerance, pale mucous membranes, decreased growth, anemias and poor performance.

Many racing and performance/working horses are in a borderline anemic state due to the increased demands for iron during heavy exercise.
Organic Iron compounds such as l use are much more readily and efficiently available to the horse inorganic iron compounds.  In additionRedcell PLUS  INJECTION 100ml is formulated for intravenous use for more efficient absorption and faster action.  Oral iron compounds are not well absorbed and can interfere with the absorption of other essential compounds.  Being that it is in a water base,Redcell PLUS  INJECTION 100ml is non-irritant.  This product is similar to Biodyl oral use.

Dosage and Administration:  Administer 10 ml per day for five days by intramuscular or intravenous injection then one time per week thereafter.  Intravenous injection is preferred.
